Customer days EMOSS well visited
On Friday January 31 and Saturday February 1st, EMOSS opened its doors for (potential) customers. Whereas Friday was mainly visited by customers, Saturday gave more room to the general public. A total of roughly 100 persons visited the factory in Oosterhout, the Netherlands.
Once inside the visitors were treated to a brief presentation on the company, its working field and the proceedings. This was followed up by a guided tour along the assembly line. There the visitors were presented with the assembly process of a number of electric trucks based on the DAF LF55 chassis. Another ‘work in progress’ available to view was the light Toyota Dyna electric truck. Furthermore the customers were presented with the refurbishment of crashtenders which are part of the Plastisol group. The guided tour came to a conclusion in the assembly room of the batterypacks, which attracted plenty of interest.
After the lunch break the customers were treated to a number of test drives in 100% electric vehicles that were present at the EMOSS facility. Some customers had the chance to drive along in the biggest electric truck on the roads in Europe, which is deployed by Heineken in the inner city of Rotterdam. The CM Mission 150e however attracted the greatest demand with the visitors. Being able to carry up to 16 passengers at once, the multi-use electric minibus was positively received by the public.
All in all the customer days proved to be a success which most definitely will be repeated. We would like to use this opportunity to thank all the visitors for their attendance and the interest shown.
