always insight into your electric fleet

Electrification does not stop at the vehicle itself. Anyone working with electric trucks or special vehicles knows that clear insight into performance and deployment is just as important as the vehicle itself. With Emoss Connect, Emoss offers more than just a dashboard: it is the overarching solution that brings together vehicle data, monitoring and technical analysis in one clear environment.

For customers, this means accessible, real-time basic insights into location, vehicle status, energy consumption and fault codes, among other things. Internally, Emoss also has access to much more detailed data and analysis capabilities to further support service, maintenance and uptime.

What is Emoss Connect?

Emoss Connect is the overarching name for both the customer dashboard and the underlying data analysis and monitoring. On the front end, it offers customers a user-friendly environment with real-time insight into their electric vehicles. Behind the scenes, our engineers and service department work with far more detailed data and technical analyses to optimally support vehicles throughout their deployment.

How does it help in practice?

Emoss Connect was developed with everyday practice in mind. It supports fleet managers and operators with clear, useful information that can be acted upon immediately. It is not about technical complexity, but about insight that helps with planning, maintenance and availability.

  1. Clear insight into energy consumption

See how much energy vehicles consume, per vehicle and over longer periods. This helps improve efficiency and gives a better understanding of costs.

  2. Vehicle data

On the dashboard, you can see how much your vehicle has been used and what distance has been covered, which supports planning. In the portal, you can create your own analyses based on different signals, such as voltage, current and more.

  3. Live tracking

Live tracking shows where vehicles are located and how they are being used. Useful for day-to-day operations as well as for evaluation afterwards.

  4. Alerts and faster issue resolution

When something deviates from normal behavior, faults become visible immediately and the Service department at Emoss receives an instant notification. This allows us to respond faster, plan maintenance better and limit issues before they become bigger problems.

  5. Geo-fencing

Geofencing is available on request. This allows us to define zones and track when vehicles enter or leave them. A practical feature for route monitoring, safety, speed limitation and usage control.

  6. Preventive analysis in the background

In addition to real-time monitoring, analyses continue to run in the background. This makes trends and deviations visible at an early stage. That information helps Emoss further improve service and maintenance. Fully predictive maintenance is still under development, and Emoss Connect forms an important foundation for this.

  7. Fast and accurate data

An important differentiator is the speed and accuracy of the system. Emoss Connect processes vehicle data in detail, down to the 200-millisecond level. This makes it possible to analyze behavior and deviations more sharply and provide more targeted support.

  8. Data via API

For organisations that want to link data to their own systems, Emoss Connect offers that possibility. This allows existing dashboards or software environments to be connected easily.

From data to better decisions

The strength of Emoss Connect lies not only in collecting data, but above all in translating it into insights that are directly applicable. Where is energy being lost? How is a vehicle being used? And where are the opportunities to further improve uptime, service and maintenance? By making these questions transparent, Emoss Connect helps not only with electrifying vehicles, but also with optimizing the operation around them.
